Emergency Medicine Residency Program

On behalf of the faculty, residents, and staff, welcome to the Emergency Medicine Residency program at the Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine. We appreciate your interest in our program. We are ACGME approved with continued accreditation. Our inaugural class of emergency medicine residents started in 2017. We interview prospective applicants beginning in October through ERAS and accept visiting fourth year medical students through VSLO.

Our program focuses on training exceptional clinical emergency medicine physicians with an innovative curriculum. At Florida Atlantic University, we are enjoying the opportunity to work with world class academic and clinical teaching emergency medicine physicians. Our goal is to provide EM residents the opportunity for outstanding clinical training in an excellent academic environment.
